A very big thank you to John Evans for his kind sponsorship of the Summer Fayre on Saturday 2nd July 2016

Next  Meeting will be announced shortly so come and see what we do. Please get involved as without new members, FOWPS will not be able to run the activities and raise funds to improve the school learning environment.

There are lots of ways to help us to make a real difference to our school and all help and support, however small, will be very welcome. Getting involved can often be lots of fun and a good way to make new friends too.

Can you bake?

We often need volunteers to bake cakes for cake stalls which always prove popular with parents

Are you a builder, gardener, painter, chef…?

From time to time we help with projects that need some specialist support and advice such as paving, gardening, painting and catering. We’d love to hear from you if you have any particular skills that might come in useful in the future.

Can you or your employer provide a raffle prize?

We have several raffles during the year and are always on the look-out for good quality raffle prizes.

Does your company offer ‘matched funding’ for fundraising efforts?

If you work for a bank or other company offering this scheme, we’d like to discuss how we can work with you to benefit from the scheme. Companies like Barclays, Lloyds TSB, HSBC, Santander, Sainsbury’s and Boots all participate in this scheme where they either match the money their employees raise through fundraising or give a sizeable donation.

Could you or your company become a sponsor?

Sponsors can cover the cost of an event or a stall at the Summer Fête or Christmas Fayre, printing tickets, providing prizes or even a project like the revamp of our wildlife area.

…and lots more besides.

Offering to help on a stall, buying a ticket to one of our events or filling a bag full of clothes for our textile recycling scheme are just a few more ways you can help. Every little helps.

We never turn down offers of help so feel free to make other suggestions. E-mail or speak to your Class Rep or any committee member and see how you can help us to make a difference.
